London has the title of being the most haunted city in Britain and this aspect of the city's heritage is playing an ever increasing role on the numbers of tourists visiting Britain's capitol.
After dark, or better still, "Haunted London" is now a tourist industry in itself and you can take a guided tour around several of the city's most haunted spots during the day.
The city's ghosts and hauntings include those seeking revenge and those simply wandering aimlessly around their former parishes. So it is no surprise that haunting and ghosts play an active part in many unusual and often chilling stories, london's history is both romantic and sordid.

Popular London Ghosts
Nearly all of the popular ghost walks trace Jack the Ripper's murderous route through London and stop at the points of his most heinous acts. Perhaps the most famous London ghosts include those of the infamous Jack the Ripper and his tragic victims.
These apparitions are nearly always recounted by their witnesses as wearing clothing from a bygone age, just like many of London's other ghouls. Is also famed for its ghostly sightings, first constructed by William the Conqueror and dating back to the 11th century, the Tower of London.

Berkeley Square the most haunted inner London zone and sighting occur even to this day, whilst the Tower of London is the city's most haunted collection of buildings.
